Fees

  • Consultation Fees

If you obtain a referral from a GP or psychiatrist, you may be eligible to claim a Medicare rebate under a Mental Health Care Plan. Medicare provides rebates for up to 10 sessions per calendar year.

The current Medicare rebate is $98.95 per session.

My session fee is $220 per standard consultation. Payment is made at the time of the appointment, and the Medicare rebate can then be claimed, resulting in an out-of-pocket cost of $121.05 per session.

  • Private Health Insurance

A partial rebate may be available through your private health insurance, depending on your level of cover. It’s best to contact your insurance provider directly to confirm whether your policy includes benefits for psychology sessions.

Please note that private health insurance rebates cannot be claimed for sessions where a Medicare rebate has already been applied.

  • Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least one full business day’s notice to avoid a cancellation fee.

Please note that Medicare rebates are not available for sessions that are cancelled or attract a cancellation fee.
